Luxury travel in Chile
From the driest desert on earth to the fjords of the far south.

Chile at a glance
Chile is more than 4,000 kilometres long and rarely more than 350 kilometres wide. That shape gives it extraordinary variety: the Atacama Desert in the north, vineyards around Santiago, lakes and volcanoes further south, and the granite towers of Torres del Paine in Patagonia.
Why visit
- Torres del Paine, one of South America’s great national parks.
- The Atacama Desert’s salt flats, lagoons and exceptionally clear night skies.
- Fine wine regions within easy reach of Santiago.

Torres del Paine is best from October to April. The Atacama can be visited all year, though nights are cold and summer rains (usually January to February) can occasionally close high-altitude routes. Santiago and the wine regions are lovely from September to April.

Chile: your questions
Is Easter Island worth adding?
If you have four extra days, yes. Flights from Santiago are limited, so dates need to be planned early.
How do I travel between the Atacama and Patagonia?
By domestic flight via Santiago, usually with a night in the capital.
When is the best time to see Torres del Paine?
October to April. December to February is busiest; the shoulder months are quieter and often beautifully lit.
